2010. 8,391,881 people live currently in New York City. Not only did the population increased but there are ethnicities from all over the world. Just the 3,920,751 of them speak only English (Source: U.S. Census Bureau, 2000 Census Special Tabulation).

People’s relation to land had radically changed and since the demand for food had increased, we cannot rely on the local resources just by using the local land. The “local” land is nothing more than property containing other property and so on. Within this notion, new qualities emerged and thus new relationships among people. One important quality is the social and economical classification which has a direct impact to the environment of each individual.
